Tell us About Your Business: I own a wealth management firm and work with individuals and families. We follow a disciplined process with an independent perspective to create a comprehensive financial program that is custom-tailored based to our client’s  personal goals.

How Do You Dress on The Day to Day for Your Business? Why Do You Think How You Dress is Important?  My day to day can vary based on the clients I’m seeing.  I dress professionally but feel I can have a little fun and not dress boring. If I’m meeting with a conservative older person, I would dress in dark colors but add a pop of color.  For other clients, I can wear something a bit more fun like adding a cool jacket to my sheath dress. Dressing appropriately is very important and I feel it’s ok to put your own twist on your outfit.  It defines me and is my personal brand. Dressing also makes me physically feel good and brings confidence.  It good to stand out in a good way.  My favorite quote from Chanel :  “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress, dress impeccably and they remember the woman”  Words I live by!

Favorite Color: Hard to pick one.  I pretty much only stick to black, white, blue, pink and red.  This way, I can mix and match a lot.  I avoid colors that don’t make me feel good.

Style Description:  Work style – classic with an edge.  Weekend style – rocker chic or fashion forward

Style Icon:  Jackie Kennedy a forever classic as well as Carolina Herrera

Who are your Favorite and Least Favorite Designers:  Coco Chanel, Max Mara, Dolce Gabbana, CH Carolina Herrrera, Alexander McQueen, Dreis Van Noten, Tibi, Marni, Prada, Gucci and Tory Burch are all favorites.  I honestly can’t think of a least favorite but if I had to come up with something it would be anything that is made cheap, fast fashion.

Heels or Flats: Heels for sure but not too high!

Favorite Trend (Past or Present):  Love the 60s style, Mrs Maisel, Rocker Chic look, leather, fringe.  I prefer to not follow a trend but wear styles that compliment me.

Least Favorite Trend (Past or Present): Boho Chic

What You Refuse to Wear: No hippie boho dresses, birkenstocks, UGG boots and anything that doesn’t flatter me

Favorite Local Stores/Boutiques: Space 519, Blake, Max Mara, CH, Chanel, Nordstrom, Gucci and DG

Style/Fashion Tips and/or Advice: It’s really important to understand your body type and what looks good on you not only the style but color.  Also, take time to do your nails, hair and take care of your skin and make sure your shoes are polished too.  One doesn’t need to invest a lot of money to be stylish but it is important to invest in yourself. You make an impression on people within the first 5 seconds.

Spring/Summer Must-Have:  A bright colored crossbody bag.

Any Fun Collaborations/Events You Have Coming Up?  With the Coronavirus, a lot has changed but some fun events coming up would be the Service Club Hat Lunch which I am chairing, a private tour with Sandy Schreier to see her exhibit at The Met

Any Advice to Other Female Entrepreneurs?  Dress for your audience and dare to be a little different and have own your style.  Take the extra time to do this each day.  You are your brand and it take a few seconds for someone to make an impression.  It’s good to be different and stand out a bit. You want to be remembered.  Don’t over do it either.  Work with a stylist who really understands you.
